Hi Tim,

It's not often I bestow praise on anyone or anything, especially when it
involves me parting with some of my hard earned cash. In this case
however I have to make an exception. I spotted your website on Wednesday, ordered
Safety Lights on Thursday and received the kit on Friday morning.
Within an hour of the postie handing it to me, I was proudly standing admiring the
difference in my bikes appearance. I'm no auto spark, but fitting could
not have been easier, I'm WELL impressed.

As I mentioned in a previous email, I put together a system of my own
which involved many different parts and took several days to fit and get
working. Even then it did not compare with the functionality or simplicity
of "Safety Lights". What's more I had to make holes for switches in my dash, Ouch!!

If you ever need someone to impart the advantages of "Safety Lights",
I'm that man. Indeed, anyone who opts for any other solution is a damned
fool. These should be fitted to bikes as standard.

Off to play on my bike now :-)

Hi,  just to let you know I received my parcel containing the "safety
headlights" on Wednesday (6/8/03) and fitted it the same day. I have been
looking for a solution to the problem of riding with my headlights on dip
for a while, too bright, and also it looks like you are flashing your
lights, especially if the road surface is less than snooker table smooth.
I looked at fitting auxiliary driving lights, but having a Triumph Trophy
1200 it meant designing a mounting bracket and spoiling the looks of the
bike. Your product has solved my dilemma, I have wired it so that my main
beam (reduced by 75%) comes on with the sidelights, this is ideal for me, it
gives off a nice warm light that seems to get you noticed  without
"dazzling" other road users (even on dipped headlights during the day, I
would get flashed at from other drivers). Also you can tell it is putting
less strain on the alternator by switching to "normal lights" and watching
your RPM drop slightly.
Thanks for a great product, why it isn't fitted as standard to motorcycles
is a mystery.

Sincerely

James O.

Received goods on 14/01/04, My husband has tried the large and it fits just right. As it goes over the top of his winter jacket, no need to worry about xlarge.

My husband is a member of the Royal Navy Motorcycle Club and was wondering if you had any advertising flyers that he can put at the club as poeple are asking about your products as safe riding is one of the club big issues.

Many thanks for an excellent service.

Dear Tim,
Thanks for the brilliant quality waistcoat. Are expecting to get any more of the blue and yellow style? I will certainly promote this amongst my biking friends and give them your details. I'll also purchase one for my son who is possibly getting a bike soon...

Tim,
I saw your ad in Slipstream, the TVAM monthly magazine and thought it a very good idea. I have a number of reflective stripes on my bike, but apart from the piping on my jacket, not much on me. So a reflective band on my helmet will improve my visibility at night considerably.

Ken

Hi Tim,

Pictures of the bike with the reflective stuff bought from you, attached as i promised.

Feel free to use them, would appreciate you blanking registrations out, to protect the innocent, and lose my address for security reasons.

They work great, everyone thinks twice before cutting me up, funny that, and as I do Look Lean Roll people have been asking me about them, so hopefully you might get some other business.

Do I get mentioned on the website! or TVAM?

Thanks,

Hi All,
just wanted to drop you all a line after reading and seeing the various letters and articles relating to "Bike Visibility" and Safety and I decided it was time I made myself more visible on the road. I just wanted to let you all know that I  recieved in the post last friday one on the new "Hi Vis Blousons" from the following web site: http://www.bikeseen.com/ for those of you who have not had a look at this site I would like to reccomend that when you get time to take a few minutes and have a look as there might be something there that just might save your life. The Jackets are a very good quality and arrived promptly once ordered and I have to say that I was worried about it fitting me once I had my normal bike jacket on but its excellent and more than worth the £25. There is also various other items there which might just help to get you noticed. So if you have a minute have a look, I am not recieving anything for sending this mail out apart from the satisfaction that it might just keep my fellow bikers and good friends alive. P.s I have also ordered the rear reflective markings made specifically for the pan from the same site after seeing them fitted to Ken Lakers bike and to Douglas's machine as well.

Two installations spotted !!!

Hi Tim,
just a short note to say a big "Thank You" to you for your help and for making sure the items I had ordered arrived promptly. The Hi Vis Blouson is excellent and I now always ride with it on, it fits really well over my existing motorcycle jacket and the quality is excellent. I would recommend this item to anyone who wants to make sure they are highly visible whilst riding. Also whilst I am writing to you I would like to say that the Hazard Flashes for my Pan European are also very good and will aid my visibility greatly. Once again thanks for everything and I will be using your site again thats for sure.

Kind Regards.

Hi Tim,
Just thought I would send you a photo of my efforts at putting on the new markings for the bike. I dont think I have made too bad a job of it and I followed your instructions to the letter. Not bad for someone who has disabilities in both hands !!! I think they look good and hope they will make sure I stand out from the crowd, I also hope I got them the right way round?

Talk to you soon..

Years ago when riding in England, I noticed super-bright yellow reflective tape and had a friend there in the trucking industry send me some. (if you've ever followed me at night, you know....) Except for small snippets found in bicycle shops, I haven't been able to  find it in the U.S., apparently because sales are restricted to safety agencies, but a good Web site in the U.K. which may get some from time to time is www.bikeseen.com. The owner, Tim Smithson, is a good man to work with and charge cards and Paypal work very well for shipments to the U.S., which take about 10 days by ordinary mail.
The good stuff, best used on flat or near-flat surfaces, is called 3M Diamond Grade reflective and is available from many Web sites in red and white. BikeSeen also has  Diamond Grade in orange and ordinary reflective vinyl in most colors, including the good one, known as "lime yellow" (check out any new school caution sign--greenish yellow in daylight and bright yellow at night) They also offer reflective overjackets that look pretty good, if you ride a lot at night in traffic.

Hi Tim,
We have been away for a few days, the jackets were at our local Post Office and we collected them today.
They are perfect, thank you, I will send a personal cheque today to save any delay in getting one from my treasurer.
Thank you for your help with these jackets, I'm sorry it was a long process but we got there in the end!
Kind regards,
Terry.

I received my jacket in the mail this past week and I really like the product.  I wore it this past weekend for the first time and I had several motorists tell me at stop lights that they could see from far off and liked it because they could really see me, that I didn't blend in with the background.  thank you.

Sincerely,

Matthew (USA)

Hi Tim,

I meant to write earlier and let you know... the hazard chevrons
arrived safely and look great on the bike.

They certainly improve the visibility of me + bike on these dark
mornings and evenings.

Great product and I'm very pleased with them.

Thanks!
Ivan.

Tim,

Just a quick mail to say how good the jacket is, great design, easily fits over my existing jacket, and very visible. Also a great price for a jacket that improves peoples awareness of me on the road.

If I was to have any gripe about it, or perhaps a suggestion for improvement it would be to have zips at the cuffs, so that it is easier to fit gloves under it.

Thanks again for a great product,

Ian

Tim, I recently received the bag and I very much like it. I think it's a unique product that a motorcycle enthusiast can not find here in the United States.

Tim - further to my call, I've changed my mind!  Took your advice on the collar and tried the Blouson again and it seems fine.  I thought it was a bit tight at first, but actually the large would be too bulky.  So I'll stick with this thanks!  That way I get visibility and extra waterproofing - satisfied customer!  Thanks for your advice.

Regards,

Geoff.
